I'm here...life has been getting in the way of me posting lately. My oldest son will be sitting his AS level exams from Monday....think I'm more stressed than he is over them....youngest son will be sitting internal end of term school exams. I seem to be constantly nagging them both to revise. They tell me to 'chill Mum, it's all under control'...:rotfl::rotfl:
Their school has been holding after school revision sessions which means I collect youngest son and then have to wait an hour for other son. Not worth going home as school is 20min drive away. Only one small (and very scruffy) Tesco near by the school. No 1p items at all there although there were loads last week. Have managed to get 1 pack of socks from there..:)
Also my step Mum in law has been playing up re. her carers, she is so rude to them and then can't understand why they not want to help her. Her own son won't get involved with her care so it's left to my husband to arrange. Her own son is having marriage difficulties, mainly due to him not taking responsibility for anything. His wife is lovely and calls often for support as her own family lives over in Japan. She moved to the UK when she married.

I have tried to keep up and have occasionally posted. Good to read 3Dogs is enjoying his new car..:)

Smart1e we definitely need a good wombling session.... Did go to TG yesterday and found 3 bags of Haribo...no socks or 1p chocolates :(

Hope everyone is enjoying the sun...nice to actually 'see' it after all the rain.

jings what a stressful time your having hun sorry to hear that, i hope someone is giving you lots of support and love xxxxx

I was trouted by a bloke this morning. I had clothing and several of the cake bars - OK I was pushing it a bit but this is normally a good store and it always cheers me up going there :)

I had clothing 1st and then cake bars, he scanned everything through and then did the MOCs. Half way through scanning the price flop MOCs he decided to read the MOC and decided it was one per purchase. So he said he could accept the ones he had already scanned but no more. He then called SS to back him up.

So I then said if he could not take my MOCs I was having none of the cake bars at all, just the clothing. I just kept repeating that I have a list to stick to and I had to keep to the list, otherwise I would just get confused - chap must have thought I was bonkers. Lady in the queue next to me was sypathetic and said she would have got her own back on them by going through the till one transaction at a time and made sure to hold the queue up and take ages (something I would have done normally but I'd worked out the ratio of cake bars to price flop MOCs mathematically and doing them one by one would ahve ruined the system :D )

At this point my OH went to sit on the chair at the back of the tills as he thought I was going to have a hissy fit and dramiticaly empty out the carrier bag of cake bars, all neatly packed onto the till. I wish I had done now but I was so busy repeating myself about not straying from my list ;)

OH well you win some and you loose some. I did 3 shops this morning 2 good, one awful but the clothing might go back again as it was a receipt with no CC card.

Good afternoon - been to lush and made our bath bombs and they were free.

Has anyone scanned the lindt that look like a giant lindor sweet, think it is small lindor in a serving dish, the sel I saw states £14.99 but they have been moved to the clearance isle but don't have a clearance price? If not I will take one to the ss till next time I am in.

Still lovely and sunny here so off to take dog for a long walk along the river and remember to put my wells on this time

Yes that them - one store near me is a little naughty as they have moved a few to the clearance isle but there are also some in the sweet isle - I was hoping they had lowered the price. Ahh never mind - it might one one worth watching though
