had a bad experience today at tesco after putting all my shopping thru i went to use a just the difference price comparison printout with receipt, and the checkout girl didn't know what to do with it, so she got the checkout manager over to sort it out
now she was a "monster trout" Judith
me "i want to use this 57p coupon"
judith "you can't the limit is £20"
    me "yeh, its for 57p"
judith "i'm sorry we can't take them they are fake ones going about"
me "fake, this is not fake i have the receipt"
judith "the limit is £20 you can't use it"
    me "strange that"
judith "i will go and get the letter"
comes back again "only 1 per customer"
me "i want to use one for 57p"
judith to cashier "put it through"
me "so with regard to the £20 limit what did you mean"
    judith "its 1 per customer"
me "i think what you were saying in a very abrupt manner was wrong"
judith "i told the cashier to put it through didn't i"
    "mmmmm"
i then went over to customer services and complained about her
the cashier who served me was lovely and said she has to put up with her everyday and its hell!
how do thhese people get away with it speaking a pile of poo and being very ignorant and rude!

A beautiful example of a trout.

  • oh I am jealous about the flowers I saw some reduced in Mr s last night from £10 to £2.50p I looked but even the sa said they looked sad. I have not had flowers for weeks now. I must try harder

Whoopsie hunting is luck more than skill I think you just have to be there at right time if your local tosco is no good for whoopsies try further afield:)

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.

I cannot believe I've been so scatterbrained today.
We have to reverse park onto our drive so when we leave I have to pull forward to get oh wheelchair in the boot.
We get to tesco this morning, open the boot and no wheelchair, I've only gone and left it on the drive.
I've just phoned next door and asked them to go and get it and put it in our house (they've got a key)
Just glad the scrap collectors haven't been round today.

Right thought that as we have had a glut of mars/galaxy/milkyway/snickers choccy and cake bars and an abundance of 1p choccy and sweets, perhaps some exercise might be in order. Don't know about you but I don't fancy the gym so decided that the smileys can do all the hard work for us. Pass us another cake bar :D:D

ETA: On that note I'm off to walk the doggies....perhaps chasing after them will burn off some of this sugar rush!!!! (So that I can come back later and scoff some more choc ;) )
