To be honest I don't remember much pain when it happened, knocked myself unconscious and only came to at the hospital. Quite a bit of pain since though but slowly recovering.
Nothing but praise and thanks to all the doctors and nurses. They are all worth their weight in gold. :T
Missed this thread and the great people on it as well as all the money savings i've missed.

Oh my god...... I hope your ok Milo.... take care xxxxtigerwhite wrote: »You should have bought the cakes on BOGOF - it's jaffa cake bars, galaxy cake bars, McVitiies Syrup loaf cake or Jamaican Ginger Cake. Buy 2 of those at £1.30 each. Then top it up by 40p at least so the till sees it as £3 spend (£1.30 + £1.30 + £0.40 = £3). Use your £1 coupon to take it down to £2, then the til takes off the £1.30 from BOGOF. Total to pay = 70p for 2 packs of cake bars and the 40p rolls.
These are the ones I keep getting and are surprisingly nice.

I too thought of that yesterday, then found T&C's state one voucher per transaction, although a few peeps said their SA's had accepted more than one voucher....The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -

Afternoon everyone.
Was up early this morning and have done a bit of a road trip to 2 Ts and a Sainsbobs. Come back with a lovely haul of different socks to ones I already have, veg crisps again, 20p marmalade, green olives, dry black olives, lace knickers and some cheap Mates :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Sorry hope none of you have spluttered with your drinks.
The last 2 things I found in Sainsbobs 70% off. 3 pack for £1.80 and 12 pack for £2 and superfine too and that was not the lace.
It's worth a look in a Sainsbobs as mine had lots of tool type reductions around 70% off, Tool box with tools £7.49 (was £24.99), Draper Tool set £4.99 includes hammer, pliers, tape, spirit level, screwdrivers, Cordless Electric Screwdriver £4.99 (was £19.99), Padlock twin pack £2.49. Few other bits too.0 -

It can be done depending on the till person, but I don't think there is a need to push it to be honest.
at 70p for 2 packs and a pack of 40p rolls you get 12 packs for 2.80 anyway, 8 packs and 4 packs of 40p rolls
I know 40p rolls are worth 40p and so seem less value, but they are really nice and an excellent change from the rest of the cakes.2013 Wombles onto Giftcard Challenge £0/£1200 -
just looked at the site , some of the posters have a lot to learn ...and they should start by curbing their bad language .
Hi fourp,
I think you must be looking at a different site....have never seen any "posters"...just a comparison website. No forum, so I'm confused.
There are usully links down the left side of the homepage, but they are not there at the moment.
Say you clicked on BREAD - it would then show the comparitive prices of Tesco v Asda for different breads, together with the price difference.
A bit like MYSUPERMARKET but aimed at getting the best JTD.Friendship Is Magic.0 -
back from doing the 'big shop', was too early for any decent whoopsies. got 2 packs of iceberg lettuce that had red stickers for extra 50 cc points when buy 2 and was able to use price flop voucher on them for 50p off too. i had thought the extra points were only on potatoes.
also the new limited edition muller corners are soo yummy, just tried the cherry bakewell flavour
That must be new! Can't find it on tesco.com thoughbut will check later
and look for these living magazines.
p.s. price checks in.0 -
