My goodness what a busy day I have had with Lala, exausting but enjoyable and so many laughs:DAm delighted I have my own printer now (it helped to boost Lala shopping to get her to an £80 shop)I cant wait to get printing;)
Getting abit fed up with Britain's Got Talent so am having a change tonight, pure nostalger for us oldies 100years of the London Palladium:rotfl::rotfl:brings back memories especially Adam Faith singing .
Enjoy the Bank Holiday where ever you are and enjoy .......
Adam Faith used to live in the same town as us and I was working in Waitrose, I was about 16/17, and I nearly swooned because he joined my queue and I actually served him!! He tried to talk to me but my tongue felt rather alien in my mouth at the time!
Nikilala - my OH has done that too, and he didn't even have to be drunk, he just fell asleep on the train not long after we had moved here, ended up in a town we had no knowledge of and it took about another 2 or 3 trains to get home. I wouldn't mind but we have a station 5 minutes from home and the journey that should have taken him 45 minutes took him 3 hours plus! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Good morning everyone, bit overcast but at least it's not raining.I was relieved to see that Mr Lala eventually found his way home after his football trip,I can imaginge DD getting so frustrated with him:mad:
Have just tried out the makeup remover wipes I got yesterday and they are great.KLeenex extra gentle cleansing wipes cost 99p (this is with a 50p coupon and they are on special from £2.49 to £1.49 plus 50p coupon = 99p)so you know what will be the first coupons I shall be doing when Lala gets my new printer set up for me:D
Hugs to QPR thinking of you ........0 -

He went on a stag weekend to Blackpool not so long ago and rang me up as he had got lost in Blackpool a little worse for wear - couldn't find the B&B he was staying in so decided he was going to find the train station and head on home - Blackpool to Somerset !!!!, needless to say he got on the wrong train and fell asleep and ended up at Manchester airport :eek::eek:, by this time he was out of money, as never takes his cards etc; when on a boys weekend as has a habit of losing them. he arrived there approximately 1am, and no trains in this direction for at least another 7 hours, so muggings here ended up driving up to Manchester airport in the middle of the night to get him - i really wanted to leave him and teach him a lesson, but knowing how much he had to drink - he would have ended up getting arrested:eek::eek: so all the way from Somerset to the airport i was on hands free talking to him every ten minutes trying to convince to stay where he was and not wander off.
He also is a toyboy!!! wonder if it has anything to do with age mentality ??? Hope you managed to find him and get him home safely - but don't envy you in the least xxxx
:eek::eek::eek:100% They must be twins:rotfl::rotfl: DH phoned me from nearly every train station he passed so as he could finally make sure he was going the right way! It's a boy thing, after a while they think we're their mums;);) And I've done exactly the same thing before, made him stay on the phone so as he doesnt wander off.Trouble is as he's getting older he doesnt drink as much and when he does he thinks he can still drink like he did when he was younger but he so can't;)Morning all sunny here in east yorks, Im sat wondering what OH has up his sleeve today as hes just brought me a full english while im still in bed and very nice it was too. I know that feeling, my DH usually tells me he's treated me to a full tank of petrol in my car when he's after something:rotfl::rotfl:Not that I mind;) It used to be flowers or choccies but he knows I whoopsie & glitch them now so they don't have the same effect if he buys them anymore!Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
I wish I didn't have to mow the lawns - just had two goldfinches sitting on it eating the dandelion seeds. Don't normally get small birds in the garden because of the amount of pigeons and magpies around here
Problem is, if I leave it much longer we won't have a lawn for our grandson to play on :rotfl:

Morning all
Enterprise why not leave a patch of grass long for the birds. I remember doing this for my daughter when she was little and the grass had gotten really long. I mowed a spiral and she had great fun following the path. She only got lost once as far as I remember :rotfl:Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can
