Morning all
Can't believe I only had to catch up on one page since I went to bed, thought it would be at least a couple more!
I have decided I don't like the geography version of the quiz, mostly score pretty low on that one! Give me a good bit of science any day!
Will finally have time to get my hair cut today - first time in 3 months, beginning to have to look through a hedge here , then I plan on picking up a new kettle. Not very MSE I know, but since I've been looking for a new one I have not seen any DTD ones in Mr T's so I might have to spend £15 on one, supposedly half price in Argos, a Wallace & Grommit one in bright orange, don't like boring things if I can avoid it!! I'll knock some of it off with nectar points, but I spent my L2S voucher in Toys R Us yesterday and only got the email to say the kettle was back in stock yesterday evening so will have to grit my teeth and actually pay for it
You wait, there will now be loads of kettles available for DTD in Mr T's, so I shall just have to stock up on them when that happens.
The annoying thing is that there is not really much wrong with the kettle but it has the very annoying habit of dribbling when we pour with it so is a bit dangerous for visitors to use!
I was treated very well when I used my Dwell voucher too, very nice chatty staff, it is only a small concession in House of Fraser so struggled to find something to buy (I too had to keep telling myself it was reallly free!! So hard to buy expensive stuff these days, even with a voucher!!!) They had had trouble with the voucher, H of F were not happy about it, what it had to do with them I do not know as I thought concessions were on independent systems). What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -

Have a good day everyone
Good morning
The combination of the two vouchers will work but it is dependent on SA accepting them. In one of my local stores they are quite happy to combine as many as the till will accept however in another they will only take one per shop.

Morning Folks, Yes wish the weather would improve , I am off to Fort William on Sunday and could do with a bit of sun.
on saturday (tomoorrow) we are doing this, http://keepthebeachyheadlighthousestripes.org.uk/ i am walking around the beachy head lighthouse. this can only be acheieved once a year due to the very low spring tide.
i darnt tell my podiatrist as she will go mental.:o but i dont see the major problem, if they are chopping of my toe why does it matter if i go for a walk on the beach?life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0 -

Yes it does I got a pack of jaffa bars and a pack of milky way bars £1.30 bogof and a £1 box Mr K french fancies (red/white/blue jubilee limited edition) so that was a "spend" of £3.60, but due to the bogof it was actually £2.60, HTH0 -
Morning All
Just been lurking the last few days as had no time to post.
Big :T to Miss Laid and everyone else on here who has posted info with regards to the 4p socks. I can't get to a big Mr T during the week but my friend and fellow mse'r said she would go on a mission for them and managed to find some :j:j These are exactly the type of socks my oh always wears so he was :j I'll be on a hunt for more of these at the w'end.
Wasn't gonna bother with the dm voucher for fruit & veg but think it would help get that £80 shop down a bit more at the w'end so I've phoned mum and asked her to pick up a dm todayStill planning my list and hoping to get it as low as poss - will let you know the final spend
OH tried the priceflop cake coupon yesterday and wasn't impressed when ss till wouldn't accept it  He had 2 pks galaxy cake bars & pack Mr T vienesse whirls which I told him would only cost him £1 but the total was £2 before coupon and wouldn't let him use it  He paid and left (got moaned at by me - said he should've left it - I'm not as mse as you he said, I'm still learning ! Felt guilty and apologised, wasn't his fault)
I tried it in our express with a loaf of bread and it went through fine so clearly total spend has to be over £3 for that to go through.
Right, off into town now and then to mums to show her how to get the L'oreal vouchers
Have a good day everyone and thanks to all who share the wonderful bargains they find :T:T Your a fab bunch :A0
