Thanks - I'm waiting for my Halo Bzzz kit too - I've just become a Bzz agent (i don't know why but it really makes me :rotfl:when I say that.... like I'm some kind of special agent :rotfl:) Anyway - not really sure what I have to do - do you just spread the word and share on FB and then write Bzz reports?
Erm I'm not sure if I've got the hang of this money saving.....I seem to be spending more money buying 'bargains' that I don't really need - oops!! :)

I can't go into too much detail, an incident happened to my nephew at school. The school should have phoned an ambulance instead they phoned his mother who was an hour away, then they kept her there while they filled in a form. He spent 2 days in hospital.

Not relating to the incident she wants to know who to complain to re the fact they didn't call an ambulance straight away, I've looked on Birmingham Council website still can't figure out who to contact. Any ideas ? She will be going to see the headmaster

She needs to ask the the school for a copy of all their policies (just to be on the safe side incase they quickly 'reveiw' any). they should have procedures and a policy for accidents. They should also a policy regarding complaints. The complaints policy should outline clearly what action she should take.

I work in childcare and write our policies. There is no way an ill or injured child should be made to wait and hour for a parent to arrive. Obviously I don't know the full details of what happened but I would be contacting Ofstead and report the school for negligence. The school have to report any offical compaints to Ofstead anyway but I'd get in there first to make sure things go the right way. Ofstead scare the living daylights out of every school teacher in the country so I'm sure things will be sorted pretty quickly if she mentions she's been in touch with them.

Made me LOL so got FB'd!!

Had an awful day today. Couple of weeks ago I begun to smell something musty in my place. Thought it may have been down to drying some clothes indoors, freshened the place up and left, haven't been back for two weeks.

Got back in today, walked through the door and was met with the most overwhelming smell of mold on my passage!! Smells like weed! No way was this down to me.. I'm spotless! Removed everything out of the passage, ripped up the carpet and threw it in the bin..

I have NO IDEA where the smell is coming from. It is dreadful. I closed the doors and isolated it to this room. It is entirely bare with no carpet.. No sign of mildew or anything.. My apartment is barely two years old.. It's not old mold.. I checked the net and apparently mold could be growing in the walls as a result of a burst pipe or something similar.. Just my luck :(

No idea what I should do tomorrow. I might have to get someone out, bet it costs a small fortune..

This has happened to us, twice. Came back from hols and there was a 'strange' smell, sort of damp, but worse. Opened up all the windows and it went off, but each day we came home and it was back. Each day got worse. Anyway, found it in the end, lifted the manhole cover in the garden (didnt smell at all outside) and it was near to the top, and had been seeping back under the house. We have a 5ft void under the house, lifted the trap to the floor and their was seepage inside.

We were lucky because the property was built just before the cut off (1936 I think) and the utility company were responsible. We got compo too, quite a reasonable amount.

This happened again the following year and the problem was always about 6 doors up, they think the lady was pouring ghee down the drain, amongst other stuff. Hope you get it sorted out.
