In my experience the discontinued items with a * are very hit and miss and no guarantee of anything other than they might go to RTC. For example I've been watching an item in my extra that I could find useful but it has been on a * for at least six months. It has been moved to the clearance aisle where it still has the same SEL that it has been sold at since I noticed them. They are also elsewhere in the store and are not clearance items. I've posted before about these items following candid conversations with Tesco staff in my store. From what I can glean the clearance aisle is often just a place to put stuff that is still being sold at full price but doesn't have a place in the store plan. Do as I do and have them scanned regularly or do a self scan if you have that facility. You might get lucky HTH:)

i asked the girls on the desk, they didnt know either as the promo only started today.

in my duty to clean car parks i wandered around the car park looking for some bm, but all i found was wys vouchers.

Last night then heard of a possible glitch on the wine, had a duty to the elite to go check this out . was not working in my local extra so decided to go on a hunt to see what I could find....ran back and forth to the scanners with a few things but nothing! West then reminded me to go on a sock hunt:D found quite a few but can you believe it when I went to go scan them the scanners had suddenly stopped working :eek::eek: Got a bit paranoid at this point as I thought they must be watching me :eek: (lucky enough I had a rough idea that they would scan at 4p ) When I get to ss there is nobody to be seen but low and behold as soon as I reach in my trolley I can feel a presence breathing down my neck :eek: At this point she is practically stepping on my toes she is so close. I smile and start scanning with her watching me, scan the 1st pair, can you believe it 4p I turn to her and say "I love a bargain, dont you?" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: and carried on scanning the rest with her stood beside me the whole time. Also bought another item sel stated £6.48 but scanned at £19.99:eek:, That will teach them for turning off the scanners, I now have to return that and claim my DTD :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hope it stops raining for everyone affected by the floods.

The hedging is covered in banners and balloons and streamers, but the funniest thing is, her friends have painted the road outside out house and all the way to her work place, as well as road signs and cones in the middle of the road etc etc etc.... well well well.... We were expecting it, as its the "In thing" when someone turns 18.. but I wasnt expecting this much...
She was well excited and loved all the attention!!!!!

Time to start on the food for tonight now..

Woke up to the grey cold day what a difference to yesterday! Going to T's later its no good will have to go & look for the socks dh could do with some warm socks.

For anyone near W4tf0rd, they have the 4p socks two pack bc 5074 size 9-12, plenty left. I was in too much if a hurry but for someone with time there's a stand outside the main entrance advertising 25%off wine etc that has finished. hth

Beautiful sunny day down here in South Devon. Just been for a walk along the river with Purdy and it's very fast flowing though.
Going to spend the afternoon in the garden....any weeds should be dead easy to pull up today!
Then planning a trip to T's tonight for a whoopsie and sock hunt.
