the new toni and leenie of the thread:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

(sorry toni and leenie, you could never be replaced:A:A)

:rotfl::rotfl: I know mobiles phones and text technology has not reached some parts of norfolk but I thought the rest of the civilised world had caught up now!!:p

Just used the £1 off cheese in the flopper on 2 x philly cheese @ £1.75 each or on offer @ 2 for a £2 and a £1.99 pilgims cheese and it scanned, so I'm guessing you could get the philly and spend a further 50p on cheese and the grand total would be £1.50!!:D

I got my naturally powered cleaning pack from the Bzz campaign today but have still not got the easy bake at home yet although I was invited on to this first as you may remember when I posted this on here originally about 3 weeks ago!

    has anyone received theirs yet?:)

    thanks for the recipe JJ!

how much is 1.5ox fat, JJ?

and would that be in solid or liquid form?

cant wait to try it out....

    Hehe:D

    It should be 1.5oz (1 & 1/2 ounces).

Any fat will do. Butter, spread, marg, suet, reserved fat from a roast joint, etc.

    :)

    Evening all :)

I got zero back from my wombles

    Completely agree with this!

When the accountants see the bottom line spend v extra sales income, they will slap the marketing guys around a bit, and maybe suggest a lower than £80 starting point, reckon £40 would be good :D

    Hi

Nothing major to report, did get some Palmolives from Mr S..

If your stuck as to what to get when using the SS, they do Baked Beans for 29p so 3p a tin when getting Two Palmolives..

Not had there own brand ones before but for 3p im sure they'll be ok...:p

    I think they're decent beans :D:)

No Palmolives left in Mr S today :( will try one of the other stores when I'm out at the weekend.

But I was quite pleased with the other coupons I used in there.

I had 2.50 of L'oreal skincare and 1.00 off ssm mc laundry coupon.

    I bought the following:

L'oreal Eye Make Up Remover 1.48
Fairy Non Bio Gel Washing Gel 3.00

    -2.50
    -1.00

    0.98 to pay :j

I had 2 of each coupon as well so I was able buy 2 of each (2 seperate transactions) :j

Made up for not getting any palmolives ;)

Did you look at any end of aisle displays? My store has them on the bottom shelf on one display. Plus lots of stock in the warehouse.

Chicken breast quarter - got 2 of these yesterday. they are on special offer anyway at half price which is 69p. Then I got them whoopsied at 35p. I only got 2, beacause I wasn't sure exactly what they were.
BUT I had one last night and it was lovely, it's quarter of a chicken, which even for 69p is good value. They do have skin on, but it only took me a minute to remove it.

If anyone is going to Mrs S. with soap coupons, their basics pineapples are only 84p, or 50p with 2 orange palmolives.

A bit of useless info - an easy way to remove chicken skin before cooking is to grasp it with a sheet of kitchen paper and you should be able to pull it off in one piece. :D

well, well, well, what a horrible day i've had

Misery Guts worked his last day today :(

I have had quite possibly the most horrendous day in work that I can ever remember. TBH, the only thing that didnt go wrong is that no-one died. I had to get someone to come and help out when I couldnt do my job on the new system, which we have had for about 5 months. He was just guessing at what my problem was. 1 h 30mins later I told him to go away and come back on monday. During that time, I got precisely ZERO work done. I was so glad to get out, I didnt care about waiting for 20 mins on the bus stop when it was pouring down with rain!!

Get home and have to go to M's for some shopping because the local Co-op works on "supply and demand", meaning that I can rarely get anything simple (for me) because the local simpletons dont know what to do with a chilli!

Still, one of my curries for tomorrow night is cooked. My house smells so lovely right now :j

And now I have finally sat down with a very well deserved vodka :j:j:j

No glitches tonight please. I wont be in a fit state to drive :rotfl::rotfl:

If being indecisive was an Olympic sport I'd have a gold medal and then some ;):p:o

Took me forever to decide whether to order the Union Jack suitcase and the other matching bits and pieces! :o:o:o Normally I wait so long the darn thing's gone OOS but I successfully placed an order to click and collect and went through TCB (only 3.03% but every little helps;)) so in total £9.70 for a large suicase, document wallet, passport case and luggage tags :j

My order is due Monday at 4pm, look forward to seeing what it's like. I've always wanted a stylish suitcase... this one will have to do for the time being because I daren't fork out on a Louis Vuitton .... YET! ;):D

    Well done you :T:T:T
I tried ordering one for my DD2 and it's out of stock :(
I did get the Nike backpack for my DS though :)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

I imagine it's a typo and should say 1.5 oz as in ounces.
HTH. I'd also suggest it's marg or butter.

    It's only a game
