Capital One haven't contacted me when they promised to

I accepted an offer for a Capital One Secured Credit Card

They said I had to pay a deposit of £49 and they would e-mail me details on how to pay.

I've waited 12 hours for the e-mail and I've received nothing from them so far.

Is this normal?
Chael Sonnen is the undisputed middleweight champion of the world. The real competition is the middleweight division.

People don't get past their prime, they just suck.

Yes, they may send you a request for ID to your address. Then afterwards you send them your ID you will receive the email asking you to pay the deposit, this is especially likely if you have no credit history.

    why not call them?
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

Capital One are notoriously slow for posting things (for me anyway) I wouldn't be surprised if you get a letter from them on Monday.

Never speak to someone directly when you can gradually piece something together that may or may not be the correct answer from strangers on the internet over the course of several days, that's what my old Grandma used to tell me.
