We are inviting one lucky winner (and their guest) to join us in the studio in New York (incl flights and hotel stay) to witness the final stages of recording our fourthcoming album.

THE PRIZE: Weekend in New York for you and a friend including return flights, and a night at the Tribeca Grand Hotel, a tour of Bloc Party's recording studio including time with the band during the last stages of recording (plus the chance to hear new music!)

T&Cs:

BLOC PARTY BLOC PARTY STUDIO VISIT PRIZE DRAW - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1.1 These Terms and Conditions, together with all other information provided prior to entering the prize draw form part of the rules of entering the prize draw (the “Rules”). By entering the prize draw you agree that you have read these Terms and Conditions and agree that you will be bound by them.
1.2 If the winner is resident in the UK / EU it is the winner’s responsibility to have the necessary travel documents e.g. passport and visa to enter the United States of America. If the winner is under 18 years he/she must travel with someone over the age of 18.
1.3 The prize draw will close at 9am EST on Wednesday 25th April. Any entries received after this time (for any reason) will be discounted.
2.1 One winner will be selected by prize draw meaning that the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize.
2.2 The winner will be contacted by no later than midday EST on Wednesday 25th April. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond as specified on or before 9am EST on Thursday 26th April, then the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next correct entrant drawn and thereafter until another winner is found. Details of the winner will be available on request to all participants who send a stamped addressed envelope to the Promoter at the address below.
2.3 The prize consists of an exclusive trip to Bloc Party's New York studio for a fan and guest to meet the band and get a studio tour, chat to the band about the recording of their forthcoming album and hear some new music. Return economy flights to New York City, transfers from the airport to the hotel in New York City and one night in the Tribeca Grand Hotel are included in the prize as the same shall be supplied by the Promoter. Nothing else is included and it remains the winner’s responsibility to obtain adequate travel insurance for all potential travel related losses.
2.4 In the event that the winner does not, or is unable to, comply with and meet the Rules, the Promoter shall be entitled at its discretion to disqualify the winner, without any further liability to the winner.
2.5 No cash equivalent or alternative prize will be given and the prize is non-transferable. However, the Promoter reserves the right to change the prize at its discretion or to offer an alternative of similar value.
3.1 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and check their identity.
3.2 Entries that are incorrect or incomplete will be void. No refund will be made for the cost of any entry. The Promoter may refuse to award a prize, or seek its recovery, in the event of an entrant's fraud, dishonesty or non-entitlement under the Rules.
3.3 The winner will be required, as a condition of being awarded the prize, to participate in promotional and publicity materials at the reasonable request of the Promoter and by entering the prize draw hereby assigns to Promoter for the life of copyright (and shall procure that any guest so assigns) any and all rights that the winner / guest may have in any photographs or other images that may be taken of the winner / guest as part of their enjoyment of the prize.
3.4 In the event of any fault, mistake, misunderstanding or dispute concerning the operation of any part of the draw, the decision of the Promoter shall be final.
3.5 Bloc Party are not responsible for network, telephone line or communication failures of any kind or for entries that are incomplete, corrupted, incomprehensible or not received before the closing date and time. Such entries will be void.
3.6 Bloc Party assumes no responsibility for damages, losses or injuries that result from acceptance or use of any prize, provided that nothing in the Rules shall exclude or limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its staff or supplier’s negligence or for fraud.
3.7 Bloc Party is not responsible for any payment of any taxes or other costs associated with the receipt of any prizes.
3.8 Bloc Party reserves the right to cancel this prize draw and to amend these Terms and Conditions without notice in the event of circumstances outside its control including illness or death or any event of force majeure.
3.9 The Rules shall be exclusively governed by the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
4.1 For a hard copy set of these Terms and Conditions or the name of the winner, please send an SAE to BLOC PARTY BLOC PARTY STUDIO VISIT PRIZE DRAW, Cooperative Music UK, The Book Club Studios, 1st Floor, 96 Leonard Street, London, EC2A 4RH.
4.2 The Promoter is <b>Bloc Party</b>. All correspondence and queries should be sent by mail to the above address.

Yes weeowens thats the one. It isnt a dupe is it? I did wonder if it was just an american comp, but the t&cs specifically mention

I entered putting in my details were from the UK and left the 'state' bit blank, and it confirmed my entry...but if someone could confirm this that would be great!
