wooooooooooooohoooooooooooooooo on the win!:j i wondered if people ever won twitter comps fairly, and uve proved they do, so well done! im v happy right now! :T

now ive only been on twitter a few months, so not sure if this is rubbish... but i think it depends on the comp...

i thought if it says follow and retweet, thats what you should do. they can see who retweeted what, the same way you can see when someones retweeted ure tweet. im not sure if addressing each RT to the comp organiser is right fer every comp, as some use their twitter account for customer service, and theyd be overloaded with comp tweets.

if the tweet has a hashtag in it, then they prob search for that, so in that case you can RT using the hashtag, this is a hashtag...#

sometimes they ask for an answer, and dont have a hashtag, in that case i either reply to their tweet, or go to their page and tweet directly to them.

they tend to either tweet the winners names, tweet the winner directly, or send the winner a DM. so keep an eye on ure timeline, mentions and dm inbox!:)

hopefully someone that actually knows about twitter comps will see this, and give a definitive answer!:)

Thanks everyone and thanks sherbie for explaining things better, my access course is coming to an end and all I can think about is getting assignments finished, so I don't think I'm making any sense at all at the moment!

(BTW I have just received an email notification to send my details through to claim my prize, I must admit I was wondering how it would work.)

    Best of luck everyone
