I found out a couple of days ago I have been doing Twitter comps wrong for the past year :o (doh!) so have been putting that right since Saturday!

I have just found out that I have won a gorgeous set of mini soaps from your recent Twitter post oliveoyl, so thank you so much for posting.

    That's great.

    How were you entering them wrong? I haven't won anything, and now worried that I am not entering them correctly.
    Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

    But how was you doing it wrong???? I'm quite new to twitter so paranoid now I've read this that I'm doing something wrong! Could you put us out of our misery & explain what you was doing wrong incase we (me :o) are doing similar.

    I was just pressing the retweet button on the link that the poster kindly posts but I have been told that what you should do is copy the message to be retweeted and then go to the page and paste it where it says "tweet to" (on the upper left).

    I haven't explained this too well, sorry, and I am sure someone better than me can do but all I can say is I have entered hundreds of twitter comps over a year and haven't won a thing but within 2 days of doing it this way, I have. (Could be luck, I suppose)

    That way of RT is not necessarily wrong though - I do that sometimes and have had a few twitter wins, not many mind! lol

    Well done! Does that mean I have been doing wrong as I just tend to retweet what they put!

    Also how do they contact you if you win as I know with fb they can pm you or mention you in a comment and it comes up as a notification.
