Travel for south end airport to london city!

Hi all, I have just booked a late trip for me and the family to go to wembley for the fa cup final, as we have never been out of N.Ireland before our travel knowledge isnt the best. Wondering if anyone could help me out? I am wondering what the best way to travel. The 1st day will be travelling down from London Southend airport to london city centre, and the around lonon to see some sights, and then to our hotel which is in Ilford. 2nd day will be from Ilford to wembley and possibly a few sights aswell. 3rd say is just from Ilford to London Southend airport again. It will be 2 adults and 2 children, age 5 & 2! Is there such things as day pass for all trains, or even better is there like a weekend pass?

Your 2YO travels free - the 5YO at child rate

First day - you can buy a one day travelcard at Southend Airport that will take you into London and travel around for the rest of the day

Second day - a zones 1-4 travelcard should cover all your travel

Third day - probably just single tickets to Southend

Check for engineering work at weekends - you may find some of your travel is by replacement bus and will take longer
