itunes security questions problem - can I reset them?

Hi,
We have itunes loaded onto a laptop, and it syncs to DD's ipod touch. We have just bought an ipad2, and when we try to download from itunes directly on the ipad, it won't let me past the security questions (ie name of childhood friend, city parents met). Now I have no recollection at all of answering those particular security questions years ago when I set up the itunes account, but I guess I must have because it keeps telling me my answers are wrong :mad:.
How do I reset/get past this and be able to put credit on itunes/download again, preferably directly onto the ipad?

It seems to be a new feature from Apple to make people hate them more. In my case I was prompted for answers to questions which I could not have possibly answered (eg name of pet) at any point since the mid 1970s.0
