You can cancel the sale by Mutual Cancellation. Then you get your fees back. Then move on and then offer to next highest bidder.
You can't force people to buy without a lot of grief so I would rather just do that and move on. People make mistakes.
Also less risk of getting bad feedback if that matters to you but don't let this be the reason.0 -
Is it 4 days or 4 Business days? as its been 2 business days, but 4 days on one I believe and 2-3days on the other
Oh and how do you set it up to automatically do it for you?
It's 4 days, to the minute.
In your account tab, Site preferences, Unpaid Item Assistant.
Just above that there is also the Buyer Requirements, where you can block people for certain things.Continuation
One ebay'er is no saying he doesn't require the item and says the reason is that he put a bid on mine, forgot he had done and then purchased a similar item elsewhere and is now asking for me to withdraw his bid.
Which I can not do now as the auction has ended
To me it's not a very good excuse for not payment.
Should I try and get him to pay by saying something along the lines of - I'm sorry I can't withdraw your bid as the auction has end so it would be better for you to pay for this item rather than me open up a case for non payment to get my fees back which would/could effect your purchasing on eBay in the future.
Maybe suggest he buys them and then offers them to his cricket mates?
You can risk a mutual cancellation & if they agree within 7 days, or don't respond you get your FVF's back.
If you open a NPB they can't leave FB unless they then pay.0 -

I usually send an invoice with a note. If they don't respond I tell them that I will have to open a case against them so that I don't get charged by ebay for the sale. This usually produces a payment. I've had to wait over a week before now. Most people pay within a few days but there are always some that don't pay up for a while or not at all.
If someone doesn't pay, I wouldn't bother talking to them. They've had an email saying they've won, and an invoice.
Ebay gives you the option to open a case automatically so that goes against their own advise of talking to them.0
