Lloyds TSB

I have three loans with PPI which in my opinion was mis-sold and my husband has an ongoing Lloyds CC which he has had now for some 12 years.

I want to instigate a claim for PPI but I am not very good on the telephone. How easy is it to do your claim over the telephone - are the operators easy to speak to or do they make you seem stupid.

Do you have to complete the questionnaire over the telephone and how long before they give you a decision.

I am wondering if i would be better filling in questionnaire myself and then sending it off but the telephone route does seem quicker.

I have three kids so time is of the essence - don't get much spare time to make calls so if I am going to be on the phone for hours - it may not be the best route.

Thanks for your help

Hi diddlepops, I am currently claiming against Lloyds for mis-sold PPI. To be absolutely honest it is hit or miss on the phone. I have spoke to helpful people and the complete opposite too. Personally I have now resorted to emailing them, or writing. Writing initially with the templates on here and a FOS questionairre and sending recorded delivery may be the best option, so you can clearly see that Lloyds have recieved things and you have a copy of what you have sent should you need to go to the FOS later down the road.

Don't be intimidated, There are some great people on here to give better advice than I can (dizzydi, amersall, dunstonh and moneyineptitude to name just a few) who will guide you every step of the way! :)
