Just want to warn anyone to avoid doing any business with an on line company
https://www.pandorajewelery-charms.net
who have a glossy convincing website and proclaim themselves as an official on line retailer.
Sadly, to my cost, they are not, and not even good copies either.

If it seems to good to be true, it is, unfortunately.
Luckily, I didn't lose too much, but I want to warn others about them

Sorry, typed wrong addy. It's .com

That site no longer exists. Or the link doesn't.

Could this be the same company? http://www.pandorajewelrycharms.uk.com/

They're based in China, btw, and the website screams dodgy.

Yes, I think it's the same one. Unfortunately, I didn't see dodgy (blinded by avarice!)
Just thought that direct from factory would cut out middlemen jewellers. Only excuse (apart from terminal stupidity) was that I really want a Pandora bracelet, but can't really afford one from a shop. (Rip off Britain etc)

This is how fake sites work by convincing people they are based in UK. To be honest a low price should be first sign of it been fake goods. Also Pandora have a online checker

    http://www.pandora.net/en-gb/stores

check where web site is based

    http://whois.domaintools.com/

I doubt you will get cheap Pandora

When checking out a site, look for spelling mistakes (there are loads on this site), bad grammar and also find out where the site's registered. On this site, I clicked on 'About Us' which told me immediately that it's a Chinese company. You can also check out where it's based using whois.domaintools. Not everything that comes out of China's going to be dodgy of course, but in this sort of situation it's a virtual guarantee that it's going to be a fake at best, and at worst you'll lose your money for nothing in return (they won't even send you a fake).

Checking the T&Cs is usually a giveaway as well. Look for bad wording and general bizarreness. And... most importantly, the price! If it's much lower than normal, it's because it's dodgy!

Thanks for the replies. Certainly going to be a lot more aware in future
Luckily, I only ordered a small amount as I was waiting to see what it was like.
I have flagged up the company to the official Pandora site, not that it'll do any good.

Perhaps flag them on this site too as fakes

Pandora jewellery is rarely on offer and the prices on this website are so low it couldn't not be fake. It's not like they are hiding the fact they aren't based in the UK either, just look at the about us page.
Founded in 2005 and located in Hong Kong

I suggest doing a bit more research if purchasing from a new site in future, especially if its not a big name company. If you want an original Pandora stockist try John Greed jewellers or Beadazzle who are both official retailers.
