Halifax PPI Success! :)

Just wanted to let everyone know that I've had a major success with the claim I made for PPI paid on my Halifax credit card over 4 years.

I closed my credit card account a couple of months ago, and decided to claim the PPI myself rather than going through an agent. I wrote to Halifax using a template from Which?, and received a letter from Halifax about a week after I posted my letter saying that they were looking into my claim.

I'd actually forgotten about my claim until a cheque for £433.74 landed on my doormat on Saturday! I am so chuffed, I am now telling everyone that has been mis-sold PPI to make a claim themselves!

It was put on monthly and showed on my monthly credit card statement. I received a letter (after I received my cheque!) detailing the breakdown of the refund - not only did they refund the PPI payments themselves but also the interest that had been added to my account as a result of the PPI. Bonus!

Good luck with your claim! :)
