Iva. Loan sill outstanding

I have pressed for a miss sold protection policy claim with a building society. They made me an offer on two out of three loans. Quite small offers. The third loan would have been the biggest offer but they say that the loan is outstanding and they will use the money from the third payment to reduce the outstanding debt. My IVA was set up in 2006. A year later I was automatically discharged. I have only recently received proof of this in a letter by the insolvency service/official receiver. How is it that the debt of my loan from then is still outstanding. I have found that an automatic discharge is not really acknowledged when it comes to credit. I also thought that the banks would have been insured for any losses from bankruptcies and bad debt and would have therefore claimed on their own insurance by now. If this is so can they then claim from me as well? Surly that would be two different claims on the same loan? What do you think?

I believe they can take the redress after Bankruptcy and IVA and even DRO after discharge.
Post your question here, they can help you more with this.
