Housing Benefit Claim

I'm a 23 Y-O single man who lives on my own, claims jobseekers allowance of £53.45 (although that has just went up) and claims HB of which i recieve £256/month and CTB of around £600/year. Ive got a job lined up through the new youth contract scheme on which i'll be earning £97.28 a week (16 hours, min wage). Does anyone know if i'll still be entitled to claim HB and CTB and if so what sort of money could i hope to recieve to help me along... phoning my local council (North Ayrshire) is a nightmare and they wont tell me anything anyways unless it a 100% certain and ive filled in a change of circumstances form. Anyone help?

a rough calculation, i think you'd be entitled to about £40pw HB still, £4pw CTB, but those are quick rough 'on my lunch break' calculations
if you've been getting the JSA for 6months you might also be entitled to a 4 week run on of full HB/CTB before it drops.0 -
best thing to do would be to go on the turn2us calculator, or on the direct.gov LHA/HB calculator. Will give you the best info. Failing that ring the council who your HB/LHA is with at the moment and they can calculate for you.
