Hello to everyone reading.
I took a loan out with Paragon in November 2002 and paid £2325 for insurance.
I printed of the letter guide from here and had a reply today reading:
We are sorry to hear about your complaint blah blah blah but the loan wet through a broker called Assured Direct so I need to write to them.
Would I nee to re send my complaint to Assured Direct?
Also, would I be entitled to interest on the ppi payment?
Hope someone can help
Ben

If you are alleging something has been mis-sold to you, then direct your complaint to the company that sold it to you, not who provided the finance.
If found to be mis-sold then yes, you would be entitled to interest. However its probably likely that this broker may not be trading anymore, and if they are, were they under FOS jurisdiction at the time? as if they were not, they will just dismiss your complaint and refer you to the FLA.0 -
Hi roonaldo and thanks for the reply.
I think they are still trading so I will send the letter off today and see what happens.
Thanks again

I have just found out that the broker Assured Direct, are no longer trading.
What is the next step for me or do I have to admit defeat?
Thanks for your time,
