Which Supplier?

Hi there, I wonder if anyone could help me with choosing an electricity supplier. I am currently on a pay as you go meter with EDF. There are seven people in my household and we currently spend about £50 a week on electricity. We dont have gas.
I have tried uswitch, but it wont compare a pay as you go meter, to a billed meter. I'd like to do monthly direct debit. Any advice welcome, thanks.

You can't pay by DD without a credit meter. Therefore you will need the PPM swapping for a credit meter. Some suppliers will do this for free, some will charge around £50 for a meter change. They may also require a a security deposit (normally refundable after 12m).
Work out your annual kWh consumption (not your weekly/monthly spend) and use a comp site to find the best credit tariff.
PPM's charge the same as the supplier's Standard credit tariff, so you can use that as the benchmark.
No one can recommend a 'best' supplier, it depends on your region and consumption.
Are you on an E7 tariff-how do you heat and hot water the property? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

None of the comparison sites will allow this comparison and for good reason; it's not possible.
You will need the PPM replaced with a credit meter. Call your supplier to arrange this. I don't think EDF will charge you (but may request a security deposit if they agree to change it).
If/when you get a credit meter, then use the comparison sites to find out the best supplier.
If you find you are unable to get a credit meter, use the comparison sites to find the best deal for you as a PPM customer."Now to trolling as a concept. ....
