Freeview Channels Missing

I re-tuned my Freeview at the weekend and some channels have gone missing from their normal slots and no amount of searching can find them again.
Missing are ITV3(10), E4(28), Dave(19), 5*(30) and 5USA(31), there may be others but these are the ones that I have noticed.
I did the original re-tune after some heavy rain had been disrupting the signal, I waited for the rain to clear away from the area between me and the transmitter that my aerial is pointing at and although some new channels were picked up (!!!!!! channels as always) it was after this that I suffered the loss.
I did not re-tune my DVD recorder and it still gets all the channels in their correct slots so the signal must still be there but how do I get it back on the TV?
Do I need a new aerial, an upgrade of some kind?

Have a look for these 'missing' channels in the 800 positions.
If they are there, then the best way to get all your channels back in the correct positions is as follows:-
o Disconnect the aerial and perform a full re-scan.
o You will then end up with zero channels, so now you need to start
from scratch.
o Connect the aerial and perform another full scan.
Hopefully, you will then have all your channels in the right positions.0 -
