they chewed a vehicle loom last week
the gunsight and airgun just couldnt keep up
if you have a rat problem all the answers are in this thread, just remember your rat might die under your floorboards though and petrify this is why until this year ive never used poison, the stuff i bought thins their blood and they die due to bruising and internal bleeding, not nice but neither is weils disease something im petrified i might get,of course its also not nice eating your lunch whilst a rat runs over your roof head

vermin and even the town hall wont pay for the tails anymore, they burn nice though with a satisfying crackle

Let the dogs roam free in the garden when they visit, it's likely that they will scare away the rats. If they return once the dogs have gone, you can get bait which swells in the stomach of the animal and kills it by starvation. This is safe for secondary predators.

    Good luck!

You get infected by ingesting water contaminated with the urine of an infected rat ; by contaminated water coming into contact with open wounds; or by eating / drinking food that has been contaminated with an infect rat's urine.

So unless you go white water rafting on rivers with uncovered open cuts drinking lots of the water, or leave food out uncovered, then you should be OK.
