Zone Alarm

I have been searching for a link to download the free edition of Zone Alarm, we had it installed but I uninstalled it thinking it would stop the computer freezing up but it didnt so was wanting to reinstall it.

Have looked and looked but me being me could only find the ones that you pay for - does anyone know/have the link to the free one. Im only on Windows 98 Second Edition

Sorry, posted you a link to Version 7, but that doesn't support Win98.

ZoneAlarm Free 6.5.737 was the last before Version 7 came out, which is what I use because V7 conflicts with my CA antivirus and won't install.

any idea why my zonealarm says it's up to date at version 6.5.737 when v7 is available?

any harm in continuing using v6?

Because that is the up to date version of V6 ......

Get V7 here http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/company/products/znalm/freeDownload.jsp?dc=12bms&ctry=US&lang=en - bit V6 is still fine to use.
