Reclaim Lloyds TSB Credit Card PPI from 2005?

Just been going though my records and I have found one (yes, only one!) credit card statement from 2005 with Payment protection cover on it.

I have tried going on-line and looking back through my statements, but the don't go that far back.

I'm not sure on when the card was taken out and when the cover was cancelled.

Any ideas on how to get old statements?

if you call the credit card customer service number (look closely on the website and you can find the landline number rather than the 0845). They will send you out replacement copies of old statements but do charge £6 for each one. Your best bet is to go for the very first one if you can remember when it was.

If you have reasons for mis sell then make the claim, the card number is the account number, if you fill the questionnaire in then just put what you know about the PPI if you cannot remember then just put that.

Send a copy of the statement that you have to prove PPI was paid and see what response you get.

Some do the claims over the phone.

A Sar would get you the info you need, enclose £10 and give them 40 days to respond if you want to wait rather than doing the claim now.
