So utterly confusing

I was told by phone that I would be on ESA contribution based for at least 2 years, I have been told by posters on here that thats not correct as you are only on CB ESA for one year, after phoning again to confirm I was again told it would be two years.
I had to phone them this morning as my money didnt go into my account, it was because they have changed the payment day to Tuesday, they didnt tell me this, any way, after reading the letter word by word for something to do whilst being on hold for 20 mins, I noticed at the bottom of the letter, after it states how much money I will be recieving, it says this amount will be payable from 12th April 2012 to 12 November 2012, thats 7 months! I did ask the man who I was speaking to about my missing payment and he said it sounds like your money will stop then, before I could ask any thing else he put the phone down.
Why would this be? I can understand the mistake about recieving it for 2 years and its really 1 year, but where would the 7 months come into it? I migrated from IB on the 12th April into the WRAG without a WCA, could it be something to do with that?, Im really confused about it all and wish things could be explained in a simple form and not be told so many different things.

It could be that based on your ESA form and information from your specialists (if the DWP contacted them) you have been awarded ESA WRAG for 7 months. In theory they should've sent you a letter which said how long you've been awarded ESA for but I had to call to ask.
It doesn't mean your money will necessarily be stopped at 7 months, rather that your claim will come up for review and you will receive an ESA50 form to fill in so you can be reassessed.0 -

Spot on MrsManda:T Just spoke to them and it means as you say, that in 7 months time I will recieve another form to fill in and may get reassessed at that time.not all on benefits are scroungers and don't need to be bullied!0 -
the change to 1 yea for conts based ESA is correct but only comes into affect from 30th April, which might explain why someone ill trained on a phone line wouldnt be aware of it....making excuses for em now though i think
google gives you these on the subject;

its going to have biggest impact on people with other household income. If you have no other income, limited capital, you could be reassessed to go on the income related & not see any difference.0
