Got phone call from DD1 last night. She is coming home for the weekend and wants to celebrate her 21st with us a week early as she will be at Uni on her birthday. So pleased we get to share it with her, thought I was going to miss out. It does, however, mean having to spend a little to make it special ( balloons, banners etc). She also wants to celebrate the Jubilee in some way. Our street is not having a party so will have to think of ways of doing this.Weight loss 0/2st

Hi all,
I've been trying to keep up reading but not had much to post about. Need to get myself going on the moneymaking front as i'm way behind where i wanted to be in terms of clearing the debt
This challenge is a big help though.
I'm declaring on £305.36/£310 - pleased with this considering i've been away for part of the month too - Now if all that extra had gone to debt that would've been great but there's always something that comes up isn't there?

Latvinia - want to send you one of Aesop's huggie arm wrappy smilie icon things but can't get it to work. Hope things start to look up soon chick. It is important that your needs don't get forgotten about too xxx
Anyway, it was my birthday yesterday so adding £120 birthday money from my lovely family.
Feel a little "cheat" adding it, but normally I would waste it on something I don't really need far too quickly and am being sensible and putting it in my ISA ( MSE is totally changing my behavior!) :rotfl:.
Had a quite day as was in work and DH in work until 3am. We are off camping next week with the kids and friends so am looking forward to that.
Got a few Ebay sales to work out profit from, so will add those a bit later. This is the first time I have really exceeded target since November!! To all those just getting to grips with it, keep chipping away month after month as it adds up. Don't get too disheartened if target is not fully reached as it is still extra ££££ earned.
Have a good day folks xxxxxxx0 -

Hey Everyone,
Lavinia - I hope your OH seeks help soon, it sounds like he needs it.
Well we've had some more bad news, someone close has been diagnosed with cancer. It's quite a shock as they are barely out of their 20's. Really makes you think...
Anyways, money making isn't going well at the mo, but I've got a small £1.50 to add from using a fuel voucher at Tesco0 -

hey all things bit better today but just got a call from my sister my parents dog died this morning and my poor dad is at home by himself in ireland as my mums at my sisters. My sis says he is really upset which for her to say that it must be bad as my dad never gives anything away. my partner has been to the gp before he used to take medication but it didn't go well with him and he says they didn't do anything except just numb all his feelings. Thanks for your messages.Positivity is the key there is a reason why life happens. Find your rainbow and ride it.0
