Quick question...
I've never sold anything on eBay before but want to start. How often do the free listings weekends come up? I know I missed one this weekend so is it worth holding out for a while til the next one appears?
If anyone can help, I'd be most grateful!

They are like every 2 or 3 weeks nowadays, so definitely hold out to save yourself those extra pennies and stop greedy Mr Ebay getting his hands on any more than necessary!!
You can start listings for 99p for free though whenever (up to 100 per month, poss less when you start though, but I might be wrong about that!)Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Thanks so much Monkeynut for your super quick response. In that case I'll get myself organised so that I'm ready to go for the next free listings weekend.
Thinking about that June total already!

I'm having a nightmare month yet again.
I didn't manage to get any BINs done or listings of any description. I'm sooo fed up. Totally skint too so I wouldn't ve been able to afford to pay for postage had I sold anything ! I had I must admit thought about withdrawing funds from PayPal when items if any sold to cover postage only but then there could've been a delay in my posting them out. C'est la vie !
Amazing money making going on on this board I have to say. Congratulations to all of you. :T:T:TJuly £10 a day challenge £ 20.05 / £ 1550 -

Don't know if you've heard the little trick a few of us do, and that's to do your listing, but in the section where you enter starting price, there are 2 little boxes, 1 saying 'start immediately', the other saying 'scheduled' which allows you to schedule a date and time in the future. Set it for the furthest it will let you - 4 weeks I believe. Now this charges 6p, and will say it's charging you 20/40p or whatever listing fees are these days (I only use FLWs or 99ps so not sure!). That's fine, you won't end up paying it.
When there is a FLW, you can go to the list of all your scheduled listings that you have made, click to Edit/Revise it, go back to the little boxes and change to 'Start Immediately' and list it. You'll see that the listing fee will have changed to £0.00
This will mean you don't pay anything to list it, but everything is completely ready and waiting.
I understand it might sound a bit daunting for a new seller, but it will make sense when you're looking at the listing page!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -

Sorry guys going to have a non related money making rant will try to keep it as short as possible. Well is having a S**T time at present me and my partner are constanly arguing the house is hell at present. He says he hates his life and that I leave things all over the place.I try to keep it under control but sometimes it doesn't happen. I also painted the decking at the weekend and some of it went wrong partner went bonkers he is a perfectionist and always makes me worried when I do painting etc that I can't keep up to his standard I try my hardest but I never quite match up. I told him that he makes me anxious as I want to do the best I can but I always seem to mess it up somehow. He told me he ended up crying to his friend today and that he didn't get out of bed till after lunch. We ended up having a massive row last night and ended up sleeping in seperate rooms. I just wish life was simple and that we weren't arguing. My partner doesn't know whats wrong with him he has depression but says this has nothing to do with it he is just fed up with his life and has been for months. Sorry for going on just needed to spill my heart out. I want to be with him and things to go back to being good.Positivity is the key there is a reason why life happens. Find your rainbow and ride it.0

Lavinia21 you do not have to apologise. I am sorry to hear how your going through a hard time. I have lived with a perfectionist, so know how it feels to be 'walking on egg shells' all the time. I really hope your partner can get the help he needs to get over this depression. All you can do is be there for him and suggest he goes see his GP. But its not acceptable for him to be verbally abuse to you or go off the rails just coz you painted the decking 'wrong'. I am here if you need to talk just PM me honeslty. Take care xNo More Buying Books: read 0/25; Bought: 0

Sorry to hear you are having a pants time Lavinia, but it really does sound like its your partner's depression at the root of everything. Has he sought help for it? XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
