Thank you Aesop - you're right, it has been a very busy few days, but back to normal now.
Have been looking into some courses I can maybe start doing soon to increase my chances of getting a better jobHave been to a few open days etc this week, and have also been looking after my friends little girl as her mother has been quite ill in hospital, and they don't have any other family nearby, so if my friend didn't visit the mother, there isn't really anyone else who would. The daughter goes to school around the corner from me, so I've been picking her up and having her at mine for a few hours so that my friend could go to her mother in hospital after work.
Her daughter is adorable, but made me certain that 2 children is definitely enough for me. 3 at a time, on my own for a couple of hours before OH got in from work, has been a massive handful.
Her mother has been moved into a care home now, which is meant to be a really nice one, so she won't be laying in a bed by herself all day in the hospital if my friend doesn't get the time to visit for as long.
So hopefully everything is back to normal now for me. Well, not that things are ever 'normal' here. :rotfl:
I will indeed update the post with the list of everyone who is joining in - but will do that in the morning. And my defence today is that it is still April :o;):p:D
Going to catch up with April's thread, as I've literally not let myself log in to MSE / Facebook etc this week so that I didn't get stuck on them as I have a tendency to get distracted by them too easily, and there just haven't been enough hours in the day for normal life!
Glad to be back though, it's felt awful thinking how much money I've been missing out making!Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -

Big hugs to you Katie, sounds like its a bit of a rough time for you and your family at the moment. Thank goodness your granddaughter is ok, must have been a bit scary for her.
Will they induce your daughter early do you think?
