I take them to Enviroclothes. They have a cabin near our Sainsbury's. Just take the bags along, they get weighed and depending on the weight you get paid anything from 40p upwards. They also take old shoes.

Yes I use enviroclothes also, but you can google to see what's in your area. They also take bed linnen (but not duvets), towels and cuddly toys. I use their cabin's too but you can arrange for them to collect things from your house as well.
