Lovefilm always use that trick! And it worked on me back when I was less organised... ended up paying for about another 3 months because I forgot to ring up again, so make sure you don't fall into that trap like I did.

Haha - no, no! I have a lovely big note in my work diary to call and cancel the week before the payment is due. I find it frustrating though when they never 'just' let you cancel - you always have to be talked into staying. I understand why from their point of view - damn annoying though!

Money side - made a saving on a wedding fascinator as I bought it with my vouchers from Amazon - not counting as already counted the vouchers though. I'm currently going for the £50 paypal from Swaggers so will be interesting to see how long that takes to get to.

Does anyone know if S&S vouchers have a time limit on them? I've just done a massive shop but have £20 vouchers sitting waiting for me to redeem them and I want supermarket vouchers as food is my biggest outgoing.

Hope everyone is having a good week :)

I have 2 cats, it's great when you do get a free trial on cat food, I've managed to convert mine to Lidls own make food, cheaper nd they seem to like it better than felix.

How do you get your cat on food trials guys? My kitty cat seems to cost me a fortune in cat food (and she loves Purrrrrrina); I'm always telling her she's eating me out of house and home, lol :rotfl:

Good plan. I know they've done the same thing to friends of mine, so lots of people get caught out. I prefer Blockies myself, and it's where I work for my second job, so I get free rentals! :j

Hmmmmm, gives me an idea, maybe for every free film I rent I should save the price the film would have cost me...?

Hi all, think I've had an okay start to the month.. I made $4.99 from sliceofpie, £7.28 from adsense, $1.00 from quidco and $5.80 from ppc trying to go through my emails and see what surveys etc I could do tonight, I don't have the energy to go looking for things to sell on ebay at the moment even though I really do want to, this baby should pop out anytime in the next 2 weeks so we shall see how I get on then lol x
Also could someone help me do one of those coloured things below your messages to show how much u have made to date? Thank you xx

Just popping in to add £7.19 quidco cashback and £10.02 profit from ebay. Am officially off the mark! Nothing much in the pipeline this month. Think I am going to have to get round to doing a car boot sale at some point. Got a small amount of broken gold which is worth around the £50 mark so will need to get shut of that to help me get anywhere near target.

Well done to everyone making a good start this month. Can't believe it is May already!!!

I have had a couple of trials that have been from survey sites that I do, not sure which ones they were from as they were a while ago.

Nat - is your telesales what I think it is?!?

I am not getting off to a good start. Being unemployed is hard work! (I'm trying to get myself organised and I feel like I'm spending half my life on the phone putting silly things right just now.)

I have some orders for tatted jewellery but I can't count any of that until it's made and sold. I did do a survey today and when it clears I'll have £10 to put to my total... But what I am basically saying is I am lagging behind a bit at the moment!
Can we pretend that aeroplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars, cause I could really use a wish right now...
