Best Place For Cheap Car Insurance Quotes????

Hi All

Hubbys car insurance is due in the next 8 weeks  . He has full no claims of 6 or 7 years, and is an older car, but dont know where to start

I have heard of confused.com, is this the cheapest? We dont do alot of mileage as Im disabled(rarely go out) and is basically used a couple times a week for small school runs(if late or wet) and other small runs as I cant be left for a long period of time due to illness

All suggestions welcome

Read Martins article HERE gives you lots of info and you will find the links for insure supermarket (which searches lots of companies for you) and confused .com (which does the same)

I personally saved a lot of money recently by doing this ...........good luck

Your welcome, one tip though ,remember when you get the best deal........... do it on their own website or ring them as it sometimes works out even cheaper than the quote you get which is only done on part information.

That's how I got my better deal......I rang them:D (could of done it online but my son who's on my policy has points on his licence so had to ring in.)
Post on here if you hit any snags as I'm sure someone will help and it would be great to know how you get on with it ................who's cheapest for you etc

    Hi

Used confused.com and cheapest quote came back at £269.77 for 3rd party fire and theft. Still sooo expensive
The car is not very cost effective and is a 2litre SRI, but weve had it for 4 years and has served us very well-very reliable and always got through the MOT. Its comfy and roomy-which I need for me wheelchair etc, but drinks the fuel  . We are paying what small debt we have over the next few months and saving into a seperate account, so that by Oct/Nov we are going to buy a newish 2-3 year old smaller 1.2 family car. This will be so much cheaper to run and insure.

    Thanks anyways

I was with cis before I changed and with having an under 25 on my policy it was expensive(third party fire and theft)...........I have now changed to norwich union direct which is loads cheaper over £200 AND it's fully comp....................give them a go ,honestly it's worth trying more places.
