Well a wee catch up of the thread from work, I planted strawberries on Monday, I done them last year, in the ‘proper strawberry pot’ to see if it made a difference to how much fruit/size of strawbs I would get, which it didn’t!! If any of you who plant them, do you just water them with regular water or something else, I am hoping to get a good crop this year, they are just sitting in the sun & getting watered, I also have mesh to stop the birds eating them this year

Mumto5 - Hope the job is going well
Piggers - Hope your ulcers etc don’t stay long, they are nasty & painful
Mummyof5 - Hope your DH is ok and all is well with X-Ray
mama7 - Welcome, you are nearly catching up with our piggers!!!
Sagaris - Glad Louis was found safe and well
JulieJim - Hope you feel better soon

Juliejim GWS; sounds most unpleasant for you!

Mrs_B in view of the info you were after, are you in need of a (((HUG)))?

Bathroom done; shower screen white-vinegared and now lovely and sparkly.:D

Been out in the wet with Lucy, so my wax jacket, wax hat, gloves, and Mr LW's waterproof trousers that I borrowed are all on the A-frame over the bath, this being the best place for them to drip!:D

Lucy's towel is drying on the hall radiator, and the bungalow smells of Damp Dog. Fortunately, it's a smell I actually quite like!:rotfl:

    Afternoon all

Bedrooms all done, two loads of washing done and spread round. Kitchen sink and drainer etc all bleached and scrubbed.

Couldn't go out for my usual walk because it poured with rain for hours, it stopped for a little while so I had a quick ten minute walk but it's clouding up a bit again now.

I've washed up after my lunch and that's about it. I took a Nurofen + for migrane/period pains this morning and i'm feeling very spaced out now! It's not usually this bad.

I went to the Dr's about a mole i was worried about. Has anyone else had one? The Dr is going to refer me to a dermatologist so they can have a proper look. It's a new one that's appeared over the last few months and has changed shape and is itching. I wasn't too worried until i spoke to OH and he started worrying. I probably shouldn't have googled. :(

I need to pack my sales before i pick up Ds2. I also need to go to the chemist because the Dr prescribed me some nicotine inhalors and they needed to order them. I did give up smoking 5 weeks ago using an e cigarette but i'm struggling now to wean myself off it.

Back from the pub with beasties from school.

DS1's gf then text saying should she be concerned as she has not felt the baby move for a couple of days.. I told her to sit still for 5 minutes and have a freezing cold drink ... voila.. one wriggling baby... good job I am not a panicker! lol.. I also told her speaking to the gp or mw is not hassling them it is making use of their profession.. it is their job to help and reassure.. Anyway.. that drama is averted.. DS1 never moved much either so it might just be hereditary.

That is the sum total of my day!.

I am a slob.. and my kitchen is a swamp!.. Good job I half prepared dinner yesterday :D
