Hi all you lovely fly ladies

Just wondering if you could help me out with a couple of cleaning questions?...................

Stardrops - I keep reading how good it is but have never used it before. My A$da sells the concentrated bottle........ can I water it down? If yes how much do I dilute it by? I thought I could decant it into a spray bottle

Dishwasher Cleaner - Someone kindly advised I could use a bottle of vinegar to clean my D/W, but not sure if I should just pour it into the machine then put it on a hot wash?

Tuesday - my own schedule Living Room

Clean Kitchen Work top - DH - he's gone off to bed so guess I do this

[STRIKE]Clear table of any dry clothes and fold away[/STRIKE] - DH
[STRIKE]Wipe sofa arms[/STRIKE] - me (leather sofa kids always putting drinks of them :mad:
[STRIKE]cob web check living room and stairs[/STRIKE] - me
[STRIKE]clean inside front door[/STRIKE] - me

Watching Sindicate now might have a look at list at front and add some of those on now I'm in cleaning mood

Wednesday list - Bathroom
Wash pots - Lunch - me Wash pots eve - DH
Laundry x 1 - me put away dry clothes - me
Clean bathroom and toilet - me
Hoover bathroom and landing - me
wipe kitchen work top - DH

you can dilute it.. but do not put it in a spray.. it is highly irritating to the respiratory tract and causes irritation, wheezing etc.. I can use neat bleach but not touch stardrops.

And it really isn't all that good!

Evening ladies, hope you all well

I was going to say I had a no-fly night but not quite.

Late finish at work and then when I came in DD had brought doogie in with horrible muddy paws so I had to rewash the dining room and kitchen floors. We had a very simple but beautiful smoked salmon tea and apart from cleaning the kitchen afterwards, the wine we drank has influenced me to bog all else so will be playing catch up tomorrow

Almost another full house, just paperwork to do after dinner. :A Back to work tomorrow so not likely to get much other than the basics done.

Thanks for the info, I have asthma so I'll give it a miss and just stick to my Mr T cheapy stuff, it doesn't irritate me.

I use very few cleaning products.. harpic on loos, bleach on everything else and washing up liquid on greasy things.. and oven mate on the oven.. oh.. and toothpaste on the bath... the occasional flash wipe gets swizzed about the highchair.. it is all very cheap and very effective!

Bed time for me after a battle with tooth brushing as my mouth is still very sore and I have another couple of smaller mouth ulcers appearing at the same side.. the main one is approx. 1cm in diameter.. it is agony and I can't reach it to anbesol it.. ggrrr... I misjudged how little I can open my mouth while eating dinner and spilled peas all over myself and the floor!

Depositted a heap of stuff with DS1 earlier I just need to sort the boxes of stuff for DD1 and I may have the startings of bedroom reclaimation...

Apparently I am going for lunch with my friend tomorrow!

Thanks Juliejim. I'm not sure whether this is the thread I remember or not, but it has loads of information in it which I am sure will be helpful to me.

Just off to empty the DD and take my second load of washing out the WM.

Breakfast's eaten just downing second cuppa, DH already away to work. I need to find something to wear for meeting in peterborough today, it's so much easier when i have to wear a uniform! Will be away in a min and back later playing catch up so hope you all have a good day :-D

A little late but I am in this week, thanks JulieJim for the lists. I had an unexpected day off work on Monday and worked my socks off from 9am until 6pm….never stopped so house is looking very tidy and garden even more so . Lets see what I can cross off. Hope you are all well, not had a chance to look back on the thread, hugs etc to all, special love & hugs to LL, Toots & LW x

Looking good if I don’t say so myself, even stripped & re-made my bed last night so can cross that off when it comes round *smug smiley*:j and my room was all tidied & hovered as well, best get my bum off couch & get showered & ready, I leave for work in 30 mins!!
