Hi there.
I applied for BR on the 14th May. I have my telephone interview with the OR in a couple of weeks. I opened a bank account with Barclays and transferred all my DD just beforehand. I hadn't heard anything, apart from a couple of forms to fill in from the OR...unitl today.
Firstly my internet online banking has been withdrawn (which i knew may happen), but they have also transfered my savings into this account too, so I am assuming that this has been closed as well. Then United Utilities have sent me a card to pay instead of DD, and increased the payments by £10 per month. They reversed the DD payment that they took, which Barclays said may incur bank charges, so have Orange. (Orange have said that they will refund any though).
My utility bills and mortgage have all been up to date so far. My mortgage is with Halifax, and I am in negative equity. I am assuming that all my creditors have now received notification of my bankruptcy from these few incidents.
My mobile is currently on a sim only at the moment, but is due to be upgraded to a contract soon. I am still able to go ahead with this? Also, will Halifax make any conditions to my mortgage?
Will the OR just go through my form? What kind of questions might they ask? Also, what happens after that?
I have received so much good advice and support through here, it has really helped me so much.

Hi PHM12 and welcome
I can't answer any of your questions, sorry, but I didn't want to ignore your post.
If and Dojo will be around tomorrow and they should be able to help with any questions. This thread is fairly quiet at the moment, however, so you may be better putting your questions on the main board where people are more likely to see them.
Please don't be disheartened if you don't get many replies over the weekend, it tends to be quieter here then and, with two bank holidays, it may be quieter than usual.
Good luck.

Hi PHM12 and Welcome to May's BR Club
I've added your name to the front page.Hi there.

For most of your questions do please ask on the main board as spoon as said, you will receive my answers.
As for the OR interview, it's nothing to worry about, its just for the OR to get a feel why you went BR. Before the call just look through your 6.28/SOA so your familiar with what you have said. If you have not sent off your bank/credit statements have them to hand. The OR will just go through your 6.28/SOA with you. Also before the call have a big mug of tea ready or a bottle of water, and while they are writing things down you can have sips of tea/water, so you don't feel you have to fill in the pauses. And if you don’t know the answer to a question just say so. Do have a list with all questions ‘you’ want to ask. Can last anything from half an hour to an hour and a half.

I can join this club! (I thought, wow, 6 pages of people have gone BR in one month lol). My court date was 24th May, it went well even though I was absolutely terrified. I have my OR interview in a week's time, and I'm also terrified about that, even though he seemed really nice when I spoke to him on court day. I'll keep you posted on how it went."Most of the people ... were unhappy... Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movements of small green pieces of paper, which is odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy." -- Douglas Adams0

Just wanted to point out that there's a June club and a July club now - that made me realise that yes, the time IS marching on! It feels like I only went BR yesterday, but it's been 36 days - 10% done already"Most of the people ... were unhappy...
