ah ok thanksA shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.
A young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent,
the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law.0 -
And another quick bump

Hi, I found this form while googling living with bankruptcy and thought I'd join you.
I was declared bankrupt yesterday (29th)
It was a scary process, and I am so ashamed I have told nobody so am very alone in this. I fled a DV relationship with nothing so gained debt trying to set up a life for me and my kids, once CAB helped me negotiate payments down I have managed for a long time now so know I can live on little but now is the time to deal with those debts from that start up time so I can move on.
I successfully applied for my address to be left off the register due to the DV which was a massive relief.
So does every May bankruptee use this thread throughout the year to keep in touch with each other and others?
I haven't heard yet from the insolvency service, I expected to speak to them briefly while at the courts. I have mental health issues and phones panic me and can make me sick, I don't normally answer them but know I am going to have to if it rings in case it is the insolvency service. How long does it take for them to contact you?

Hi and Welcome to Mays BR Club PippaGirl, I've added your name to the front page
I'm not sure how long it will be before the OR contacts you, could be two days or a week.
It will take 2 months (approx) for the OR to contact your creditors.
This thread is a bit quiet recently, so any important questions I would post on the main board for more posters to see.
Best wishes

Hi everyone and Welcome to the May 2012 Bankruptcy Club.
This club is for everyone who has gone or going through the process of Bankruptcy during May 2012. So please feel free to join and post.
Pop your name on here, the date that you went BR and the stage that you are at now in your Bankruptcy. And then just keep everyone in the club updated throughout the next year about your journey through BR. That way we can all stick together and compare notes and we will be there to support each other throughout the different stages in our BR.
Remember this is your board so keep posting.
Obviously anyone can come on here and post anything that will help us all and you are all welcome. Any important questions that do need answering are maybe still better posted on the main board.
Hopefully it will be an extra place for friendship and support as we compare notes and discuss what is happening with our Bankruptcies.
*PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE TOO MUCH INFO, THE IS ARE KNOWN TO FREQUENT THIS SITE AND TOO MUCH INFO MAY MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO IDENTIFY INDIVIDUAL CASES, SO KEEP INFO TO A MINIMUM, ie USERNAME AND DATE ONLY*
