How do I get Bluetooth on my Dell PC?

I have a Dell Vostro 460 PC. I am not sure if it comes with Bluetooth or if I have to install it? I am running Win7 64 bit.

I have looked on the Dell Support site but it is no use. When I search on the web, I find various utilities which want to download several different drivers on my pc. Any suggestions?

You can't 'download' Bluetooth. It requires a Bluetooth USB dongle physically connected to your PC (if not already built in).

If it hasn't got the hardware built in, you should be able fit a Dell 360 bluetooth module. I picked one up off eBay for less than a tenner. It takes about two minutes to fit. You can get the drivers off the Dell Support website. No need to go anywhere else.

first off, enter your service tag (on the underside of the lappy) on dell's support site, this will tell you if it had bluetooth built in when it left the factory. If not, and you've owned it from new, then a cheapie usb bluetooth dongle will do the job, from a quid or so off ebay :)

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple :D
