Great Family Campsite recommendations

We are looking to go camping at some point in the summer, which we will probably book last minute dependent on the weather.
I have been to a couple of Haven sites, both in a tent and caravan, but I would like to try an independent site instead.
There will be myself, my partner and my boys, aged 10 & 8 and we are looking for somewhere where there is lots to do, as they are very active
I am not overly worried about budget, as I would rather pay more for better facilities as this will be our first holiday for three years.:j
We are generally in the middle of the country, and so anywhere is a consideration for us, I'm just looking for recommendations of a fun, friendly site, with lots going on.
Thanks x

a big site with plenty to do, might suit is Searles in Hunstanton. Not the cheapest tho!!
Best advice is go to www.uk.campsite.co.uk and use their map search. You can also refine the search to suit you... tents ehu near beach, bar pool etc etc
Free to join and post, you could also ask for recommendations on their forum. And if you find a site you like then you can read reviews from other campers/caravanners who've been.0
