southampton taxis

Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced, reliable Southampton taxi firm.
I need to book various journeys including Hotel, airport and cruise terminal transfers.

I have had a few quotes but some only do the airport runs and otheres are very expensive.
Any help very much appreciated.

West Quay cars 02380 999999 are the firm I use ( I live in Southampton).

For transfers from the Airport, your best bet would be a train from Southampton Airport Parkway to Southampton Central, cheap & 10 minutes. There is also a free bus service from the Central Station to various parts of the City Centre and the Red Funnel (Isle of Wight Ferry) terminal and from there a taxi would only be a few pounds to the Cruise Terminal. Which hotel are you staying at?

We are staying at the Southampton Park Hotel, Cumberland Place. Dont know what it is like.
Could you recommend any decent pubs in the vicinity of the Hotel, preferably with karaoke?
We dont want to mess about with public transport as we will have a lot of luggage.

Not stayed there but had meetings in the bar/lounge area and people who I know who have stayed there have said it is nice. It is a 5 minute walk to the London Road & Bedford Place areas which have a variety of bars etc, a lot of students but fun and some nicer bars as well, depends on what you are looking for. Not sure about Karaoke that end of the city, which days are you looking for, I will look into it. If you are there on a Thursday night the London Hotel on Oxford St has a very good Karaoke night although it is best to check the London is ok for you, best to google it.

We will be there on Friday 18th May & Saturday 2nd June.
