Summer in the French alps same as Westendorf Austria

Hi all, I need some advice. Last summer year we booked an apartment in Westendorf Austria for a weeks beak. It was great and not too expensive as its a skiing vacation so the summer was their off season but we loved the mountains and walks and pretty villages.
This year we want to try the same type of summer holiday in a French village that would normally be classed as a beautiful skiing destination but we would be going in July/August. What part of France would give us our Westendorf Austria type experience. Could you advise using this sites categories.
Also what airport would I need to fly into and then get a train to our destination. Thanks in advance for any help..........:T

Try looking at Morzine ! It is a very pretty village with chalet type accommodation like Westendorf and the mountains are very pretty. There are plenty of listings on the site you mention.0
