I also ordered a bouquet of silk black roses to be tied with an ivory ribbon and a flowergirl sized bouquet of ivory roses tied with black ribbon.
So black ribbon for the flowergirl.leebsoontobec wrote: »The flowergirl bouquet has a black ribbon instead of the ivory I ordered.0 -
Whilst paypal exclude custom made orders I would try paypal again as most of your order was not customised i.e. you bought what you saw in a photo, with a minor alteration and an additional bouquet. To me this is not the same as buying wedding invites which are totally customised.
If you get nowhere with paypal consider making a complaint to the Ombudsman or look at the moneyclaim option previously posted. The threat of legal action could be enough to make this seller refund your order.0 -

Sorry that was me getting jumbled up. I ordered ivory roses with black ribbon for the flowergirl and got ivory roses with ivory ribbon.
Seller is still ignoring me. I read that under the sales of goods act I'm entitled to a refund withing 7 days. If she continues to ignore me until the 7 days are up (27/4/12) can I still get my refund?
Thanks again for everyone's help, it really is appreciated0 -

You need to be a little more proactive.
Try Paypal, explain that they were NOT customised but as per the photo the seller gave. Don't get bogged down with the intricacies.
If you get no joy from Paypal and your bank won't help, then you will have to try the civil route which is lengthy and will require you to put the legwork in.0 -
If you still get no joy from Paypal, then send a letter before action,

That may help her to decide to refund.0 -
Hi, thanks for all the replies. Not too sure why my post has been moved to the ebay thread as I didn't purchase the goods through Ebay, just got her contact details from listings she already has but everyone's advice has been great, thanks again.
This is a general board for stuff bought online, including through Facebook.
Good luck - I hope you get this sorted - and congratulations on your wedding."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

Hi,
I've just been through a dispute process with Paypal for a canvas which I ordered from a company on the internet called Canvasdezign. I uploaded a picture which was a good picture to them for transferring onto canvas. The picture had some writing on it, which was a present from my grandchildren for their mum on mothers day. The canvas I received was completely pixelated, the writing illegible, therefore not anything like they state on their website.
I contacted the seller who emailed and said if I returned the print, he would issue a refund, he emailed again to say he had received the print and would issue the refund, suprise, suprise no refund. I raised this with Paypals resolution centre, to then find this week they have decided in the sellers favour. Absolutely wrong!!!! Therefore I now have no picture and no refund. I am closing my paypal account as they are absolutely no use whatsoever in protecting the buyer with regards to trying to obtain a refund. I really wish you luck with this, as I know it can be very distressing and extremely time consuming.
Regards

did you send it back tracked?0

No not tracked, posted it back and they have emailed me to say they have received it, and will send me the refund.... but strangely enough no refund has been forthcoming in the past 3 weeks.0

Use the link to send a 'letter before action'. And in future, if you use Paypal or Ebay's resolution centre for a refund, you have to send the item back tracked.0
