new to windows7

I have just got a new pc and working around windows7. On XP, there was a "shared documents" file that all users of the same PC could access. I am trying to find the same in W7 so we can all see the shared photo's and things from the same file. I'm not having much success at the moment. Is there such a file?I have tried the 'Share With' prog and emailed it to another account but can't seem to open it:( Is there a simple way to share with other accounts?

Its like XP, but with only half of it working.

Hey thanks everyone for the help. Just had my daughter telling me as well. I wouldn't mind but it was me who used to tell her about PC's before XP a few years ago!! :-)

I've never bothered with shared folders, with XP or 7, but with 7, if you leave your network name as the default then all computers connecting to it can automatically see every other one, and can share files on each.
