Will a refund of PPI be deducted from c/c balance?

Hi i just wondered if anyone could share some light on PPI relcaiming for me?

I am in the process of claiming back PPI for my partner, he currently has an outstanding balance on his credit card but i am just wondering if they can deduct the PPI amount from this rather than sending a cheque directly?

Thanks

They may do this as a matter of course, they all work differently with redress though, if the card is in arrears they can take the redress anyway but if the card is up to date then there is no reason they would not give the redress to your Partner.
Name the card company and I am sure anyone who has had redress for this card will post and let you know what that card company does.
  • thanks for the reply - the card is with Lloyds and an outstanding balance of £1100.
