Hi, with regards to Ann Summers, I was quite shy before I started doing it a year and a bit ago and would never think I would be capable of standing up in front of 'strangers' and talking about sexual stuff but I find it great fun and to come out with money in your pocket a the end of the night is fab. The only outlay you need to pay is 3.50 per week for the 500.00 rental of your kit and thats only until you have sales of 1200 (which is normally achievable after three or four average parties). I only intended doing it for a few months but you get used to the extra money and I actually found that I lvoed doing it and don't want to give it up just yet!

One nice little earner I came across was online surveys for Pinecone Research. You have to find one of their elusive banners to sign up - it isn't possible to appy for membership. They pay £4 in luncheon vouchers for surveys completed, and occasionally I get products to test, and get paid another £4. On average I make around £12 a month - not a fortune but I save them up and when I've got around £24-30 I have a 'free' grocery shop - Tesco's and Morrisons (as well as lots of other places) accept them.
They're about the only genuine company I've come across for this sort of work and they always pay up very promptly. They take confidentiality about product concepts you review / products you test very seriously, so you have to sign a confidentiality statement.
If you get a chance to sign up for them - definitely do so!

They post the banners at random, and never state where they're going to be posted - I've never seen one yet. I was lucky enough to be nominated by a friend who's a member - they were looking for ppl in a particuar demographic group that I fitted. Sorry I can't help!

Pinecone Research - you can only join if you sign up via one of their online banners which appear at random, or if someone nominates you when they're looking for ppl who fit particular demographics. Any member posting sightings of banners will get booted, so even if I knew where one was, I wouldn't be posting a link to it.

All I'm saying is that, if you spot one, sign up - it's well worth it.

would love to do that but i dont have much confidence due to not having any friends around here, lived here 2 years and dont really know anyone apart from my workmates who i only see on a thursday when i go to work(SAHM rest of time) so my confidence is a bit shattered

does it cost much to start up?

what is SAHM? is it not possible to get extra hours at work. i'm currently working a shedload of overtime to pay my debts. it's not fun but it's working so far.
  • SAHM is a Stay At Home Mum, i only work one day a week as we dont want our daughter to be in childcare(no offence to anyone who uses childcare, its just our personal choice) and the day that i work my hubby has off so he can look after her!!
we dont have any family around to look after her either unfortunately!!

im not doing the carboot, i got the days wrong and it was yesterday, looks like ill have to ebay everything instead - or find another carboot!!
