Lacquer peeling off front and rear bumpers
Hi,
I've owned a Mark 3 Golf for a few years now and have decided to keep it a while longer rather than sell it on and want to improve its cosmetic condition a little.
Its a TDI GL model and is completely colour coded in black, I've done quite a lot of work on it before cosmetically nothing fancy just where its been keyed down to the metal  and general touch ups and these have been very successful
I've still got a tin of spray paint and lacquer form VW for the body work left over and the lacquer appears to be peeling off of the back and front bumpers apparently this is due to compression when other cars rub up against yours in the car park or viseversa.
Anyway is it possible to fix this, myself without making it worse?
