Tesco again! Vent

Would that have been at a Tesco Express?

Tesco don't award clubcard points on fuel purchased at Tesco Express outlets that are attached to Esso petrol stations.

If you stand outside the forecourt and look at the sign that displays the price of fuel theres an esso sign at the top (i believe) which tells me its esso fuel with a tesco shop.

Same with thing budgens as they sell Total fuel.

Been like it for some time.

A lot of the tesco express shops/petrol forecourts are not actually ran by Tesco's ( petrol part that is)

Especially as above poster said Esso ones. It does tell you on the pumps that clubcard points not given.

Isn't it 1 clubcard point per £2 spend on Tesco fuel? Nothing if you buy from a Tesco Express attached to a 3rd party petrol station (Shell, Esso etc).

Correct, changed about 18 mths ago - too many people gaining points via multiple company vehicles.

But if you have a Tesco Credit card - just use that and you get one point per £.

They gave me points yesterday but not as many as they used to do.

They changed it a while ago so they could keep the double points on the groceries.Also its only on the tesco petrol stations not the esso ones. Your better off using the credit card (you dont have to pay with it just ask them to use it for the points)

Thanks for replies, yes it was Tesco Express and this is the first time I have filled up at one.
