Terms and Conditions Win A Ford Ranger Driving Experience Competition – 20/04/2012 to 06/08/2012
1. By entering this competition, the entrant will be deemed to have read and understood these rules and to have agreed to be bound by them.
2. The competition is open to UK residents excluding employees of Promoter and their families, the Promoter's agents or anyone professionally associated with the promotion. Only one entry per person.
3. Entrants expressly declare and represent that (i) they submit to English law and jurisdiction in participating in this competition and (ii) they are individuals and not a company or any professional and/or commercial entity and (iii) they and their attending guest are medically fit enough/in sufficient good health to participate in the Prize.
4. Entrants must be 18 years old and over as of 20 April 2012. Proof of identification may be required at the request of the Promoter.
5. The competition will run from 20/04/2012 to 06/08/2012. The closing time and date for receipt of entries is 23:59 on 06/08/2012.
6. Method of Entry: The competition can be entered for free via the Discovery website at http://www.discoveryuk.com/web/FordRanger/Win/ where entrants must fill in and complete the online entry form.
7. By entering, the winners agree to participate and allow their photograph to be used in any publicity or promotional activities as may be reasonably required by the Promoter. Further the Promoter reserves the right to use the names and local areas of winners in any publicity.
8. There are three prizes that each consist of a two-night break during September 2012 in the Scottish Highlands of Perthshire and include both an off road and a scenic driving experience using the Ford Ranger vehicle with qualified off road driving instructors. The full prize includes:
o Return travel for two people to Crieff, Perthshire. Travel will be either in the form of a petrol allowance from the winners home address or by train and taxi should the winner prefer not to drive. Train travel should be off peak. Should the winner live more than 5 hours train travel time from their destination, flights will be sourced where possible, subject to availability and Promoter’s sole discretion. Travel will take place on a pre-determined weekend in September 2012 subject to availability and Promoter’s confirmation.
o Two nights accommodation at the Crieff Hydro Hotel. The hotel is classed as 4 star and is based on two adults sharing a twin or double room (winners choice) with en-suite bathroom on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. No extra room services charges are included in the Prize and will be incurred by winners at their own expense.
o Breakfast for two people in the hotel restaurant.
o 3 course dinner each evening in the Meikle restaurant. Dinner is based on 2 adults enjoying a three course set menu in the Meikle restaurant or alternatively a 2 course meal in the Brasserie. Winners can also enjoy half a bottle of house wine per person, mineral water or coffee.
o Scenic drive in the Ford Ranger with a qualified instructor. The Scenic drive will last for one hour and will be led by a fully qualified British off road driving association instructor. Winners will be allowed to take their turn behind the wheel as long as they hold a valid, full driving licence which the Promoter may require the winners to present on request.
o Ford Ranger 4x4 Off Road driving experience with a qualified instructor. The 4x4 off road driving adventure will last for one hour and will be led by a fully qualified British off road driving association instructor.
o Winners choice of activity including:- Air Rifles, Archery, Clay shooting, Golf, Horse Riding, Quad biking, Vertigo High Ropes course, Watersports (water ski, wakeboard, inflatables), Climbing wall and zip wire. Winner can choose from any one of the activities listed during their stay. Activities need to be pre booked to ensure availability.
o £250.00 spending money.
9. The draw will take place on 13/08/2012. The winner will be contacted by post, telephone or email within 2 days of the draw. The winner must claim their prize within 10 days of the notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these terms and conditions.
