The .com is what you said you'd registeredI purchased chuppachups.com around 6 months ago for use as a price comparison site - nothing to do with confectionery???
Irrelevant, but what was your reason for choosing chuppachups in the first place? How do I add a signature?0 -

So either you were blissfully unaware that there was already a name in use virtually the same, or you were aware of it and looking to piggyback on them.
If the former then why on earth would you think chuppachups was a good name for a price comp site? What made you think of it?
If the latter, then you've deliberately tried to exploit their name with a spelling variant of it. No?0 -
My mistake it is a .net but their email is referring to a .com for some strange reason - which is why I originally thought it to be a scam/joke email. I am totally news to this - and it was a genuine mistake - I just came across the domain name as I wanted something cheap! This gets more confusing.
chuppachups.com is already registered to Perfetti Van Melle S.p.A.
chuppachups.info is registered to someone in the UK (presumably this is you)
chuppachups.net is unregistered
If you're certain the email actually came from Perfetti Van Melle S.p.A. or someone acting on their behalf, and not some random chancer, then I'd be inclined to offer it to them for a reasonable price. How do I add a signature?0
