Not sure if this is the right board...
I made a payment to onthebeach.co.uk on friday for just over £130. They have taken the amount 3 times. It's ruined my plans for the weekend as its taken all my money! I phoned my bank (RBS) and they said they attempted the take 4 payments but the last one was rejected because there wasn't enough funds.
Does anyone know how long it will take to get the money back? I've got bills due out and will pay fee's if they bounce.

Has the money actually been debited or is it showing as taken off your available balance? It is possible they have just placed a hold on the amount three times but most likely won't take the money three times. It is possible to get the bank to remove the incorrect holds but it depends on their own policies.0

I wont know until Tuesday if they've taken it or put a hold on it.
I dont have an overdraft or anything so I've no money until the funds are returned to my available amount0 -
Another reason to pay with a different card for online transactions!0

Or a credit card, where you spend someone elses money and report any unauthorised transactions. Having your money all in one place is never a good move.0

I cant get credit cards.
Does anybody know how long it will take to be returned?0
